Too funny. That looks like something I'd do.
Have you ever tried that? Next time you encounter a bawling child, start crying yourself. Often they'll stop crying dead in their tracks and get the most stunned expression on their face as they watch you.
Sometimes they'll "get it", and redouble their bawling with anger at being mocked added into the mix of whatever was bothering them before.
Then you can laugh. -
