22:05 badanov I got a little theory about Hillary becoming Secretary of State.Let's see if it tracks:

In June 2008,Hillary sez to Barack, you wanna be da man, you gotta be a man. When you get elected, you appoint my people to top posts and I get Secretary of State, and I will enthusiastically support your candidacy.

Political Cover? We'll worry about that if you win, but I will support your candidacy.

Fast Forward to Dec, 2008, Obama nominates a whole slew of Clintonites, and voila! a leak comes out with the "fact" that Obama was maneuvered into not denying Hillary was to be named Secretary of State by the very fact of the leak.

Are you f*cking kidding me?

The leak was the part of the payoff that included political cover for Obama. Hillary gets to be the chief foreign representative to the USA and her loyal followers in every level of government are there now, it's almost as good as being president.

Anonymous said...: Its almost as good as being President? For Hillary, no F---ing way! She wants the Oval Office and is going to undermine B. Hussein every way she can to challenge him in 2012. I don't think she cares a damn if the U.S. goes down the tubes in the next four years. Becoming POTUS is all that matters to her.

Its simple, leak anything critical of W and you get play on the front pages for days. you don't get any positice PR but the damage to the President is done drip by drip. You can even make up negative stuff as it is all published as "an unnamed State Department spokesperson". If it is State it is official smart important. Since then, she's been limited to what she can obtain from the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Now, she's managed to finagle access to all of the top secrets of the Executive Branch again.

Scottiebill said...: Our local and national talk show host in the Portland-Vancouver area, Lars Larso, has come up with the thought that Hillary is Constitutionally unqualified to be SecState. It has something to do with her voting for Senatorial pay raises while she was acting as Senator from New York. Apparently this renders her unqualified for The B-HO's SecState, or any other Cabinet post.

If this is correct, it won't make a bit of difference to The B-HO. He has already shredded the Constitution in many ways that this one won't matter to him at all.; 12/2/08, 3:15 PM
