Should've asked for the Sony and would've ended up with the Wii.

My mom, bless her soul, was always doing things like that. After starting high school at St.Patrick's in Chicago, I asked for a school jacket - green with pale yellow leather sleeves, and the St Pat's logo. Instead of buying one off the rack, mom had one made - with superior leather and cloth, and a hand embroidered logo that looked nothing like the original. I was embarrassed to wear it.

Rodger - LOL - then your Mom did her job. You know, the only real pleasure a Mother gets is by embarrassing her off-spring. I still enjoy doing that and mine are grown.

Oh small world, my wife wants to know what year you graduated from St. Pats. She went to Notre Dame.

But just think how much you can have now buying your own toys- and if they make *your* kids jealous - so much the better!

Well maybe only a mom would understand that logic.

St. Pats??? I went to De Paul. Won the city championship and then the school closed and I transferred to Lane Tech. Surprisingly, the students were better behaved there!

Was Riverview Park still there when you went to Lane?

My family move to Maryland the second half of my freshman year, so I wound up in public school. Worse thing that ever happened to me. I needed that Christian Brother discipline.
