I can appreciate his songwriting, but his performance just doesn't suit me.

This gets my vote for worst rendition of a beautiful song, as done by the composer. Please, please Mr. Cohen, stick to writing. One of my favorite performances of "Hallelujah" was done by K.D. Lang, someone who should stick to singing and avoid politics.
We all have our strengths and weaknesses...
