Soros's Lawn Jockey

fat chance

CHICAGO — The U.S. Supreme Court will consider Friday whether to take up a lawsuit challenging President-elect Barack Obama's U.S. citizenship, a continuation of a New Jersey case embraced by some opponents of Obama's election.

The meeting of justices will coincide with a vigil by the filer's supporters in Washington on the steps of the nation's highest court.

The suit originally sought to stay the election, and was filed on behalf of Leo Donofrio against New Jersey Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells.

Legal experts say the appeal has little chance of succeeding [duh], despite appearing on the court's schedule. Legal records show it is only the tip of an iceberg of nationwide efforts seeking to derail Obama's election over accusations that he either wasn't born a U.S. citizen or that he later renounced his citizenship in Indonesia.

The Obama campaign has maintained that he was born in Hawaii, has an authentic birth certificate, and is a "natural-born" U.S. citizen. Hawaiian officials agree. [Obama has, however, steadfastly refused to produce a certified birth certificate from Hawaii, which state court recently ruled against a plaintiff who sought to see what state officials told him was "an original typewritten certificate that no one had yet seen."   But never mind all that.  It was of some importance, to more than a few someones, that this Kenyan lawn jockey be installed as president. We have no standing to protest, so carry on as usual.]

I suppose the "racist" charge may apply here, although lawn jockeys have been passe for so long that they've lost their stereotypical meaning.  Still, it's how I think of this cipher - a front for people unknown, for reasons I can only guess at. Obama was shoved down our throats by a calculated appeal to racism anyway, so screw it.  You could have purchased the original here, but not now.

Re "The Obama campaign has maintained that he was born in Hawaii, has an authentic birth certificate, and is a "natural-born" U.S. citizen. Hawaiian officials agree."

Actually, from what I saw of the press release, they are only saying that there IS a certificate and that it is valid. The wording very carefully omits any reference to the content such as his place of birth. IOW, the hawaii press release does NOT prove his eligiblity in any way. On the contrary, the weasel wording of it makes things even more suspicious.

There is also the issue that he may have had a dual UK/US citizenship at birth which might make him inelegible.

Shit. If I were a justice and wanted to keep my job or reputation, I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot gavel.

No, regrettably it won't.

Thus, no one has standing to challenge whether an office-holder meets the Constitutional qualification requirements for office.

Such requirements are only on paper - they are unenforceable.

Oh man, that is harsh. While I question his citizenship, he is quite the educated man and well above the duties of a lawn jockey.

"quite the educated man "........I dunno...Did he ever release his college records?

This needs to go away this is of big bunch of nothing guys.It is not going any where today, tomorrow, are any day. We need to get on with the real fight the 2010 elections we lost this round we need to move on. Michelle Malkin had a great article on Mr. Berg the nut case that he his (he believes Pres. Bush is responsible for 9-11 not the rag heads)it also mentions a birth announcement in he Hawaii newpaper. For what purpose would they put in a birth announcement did they foresee a run at the white house 40 odds years ago?? We need to get busy for the next round.

Spanky, you sound like someone who is unfamiliar with the details of the facts. You might want to get up to speed on the actual weight of evidence that strongly suggests Obama is not a "natural born citizen" both by virtue of his birthplace and age of his mother, and by virtue of his having become an Indonesian citizen, lest you end up sounding like lefty deniers.

For that matter I'm ready to put any right-leaning deniers in the same boat, Malkin or whomever. Berg being a 9/11 truther doesn't necessarily make him wrong in this case.

I don't expect this to go anywhere only because other parts of the Constitution have already been used as SHIT PAPER for so many years.

And to think for all these years I've been showing my $20 birth certificate to gain employment, when all I had to do was hire three law FIRMS and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and simply refuse.

Jeez, I'm always taking the hard way out.

Here is a thought for 2012 if SCOTUS wimps out... It appears that Donofrio is suing the Secretary of State of New Jersey because she did not properly vet the candidates. It appears that NONE of the Secstates vetted the candidates credentials.

Hell, one guy running on a third party ticket was born in Nicaragua to non US citizens. IOW, dereliction of duty from the secstates.

SO, HERE IS THE MASTER PLAN....

Try to get the RedSTate Sec States to insist on vetting any POTUS or V-POTUS candidates for the primaries and general election.

If only a couple of them would have the cajones to do this, then obama would be SOL. The lamestream media can ignore the issue now. Hell, probably less than 5 percent of the voting population understands the issue.

So, imagine what happens when obama goes to the primaries for 2012(assuming HE will allow elections to be held).. Red State SOSs in Wyoming, South Carolina, Alaska and North Dakota throw him off the ballot. That will play hell with those nice little electoral college maps. THe lamestream media would HAVE to explain why there is no possibility of obama getting those states.

One possible counter by HIS EXAULTEDNESS would be to try to ram through an ammendment removing the Natural Born Clause. If this happens LOOK OUT.

Funny thing is the "original" COLB posted at http://fightthesmears.com/articles/5/birthcertificate clearly indicates that "ANY ALTERATIONS INVALIDATE THIS CERTIFICATE" (yes, they wrote it in capital letters) and then the "fight the smears" guys go and alter it by blacking out the certificate number and insist that it is STILL VALID...

oh well, just feeling persnickety
