Maryland's Rat Tax

Today's More of the Same
Maryland My Maryland, your ass.

This is the level of crapocity Marylanders expect from our ratbastarddemocrat controlled gummint.

Homeowners in Annapolis and central and southern Anne Arundel County will see the taxable values of their properties decline over the next three years, but should not expect their tax bills to do the same.

New property assessments mailed out yesterday by the state Department of Assessments and Taxation say property values of those areas will fall by 0.3 percent over the next three years.

Remember, Democrats are the people who raise hell if pump prices don't drop with every decrease in the price of oil.  How do they react when  the price of housing is up, you ask?
As the housing economy struggles throughout the nation, Maryland assessments are not immune, Mr. Glorioso said. The numbers are in stark contrast to what was sent out in 2005, when assessments soared by 66 percent for the same area.
But you know what?  Screw 'em.   Marylanders keep electing these commies, and deserve everything they get.  I have the option to move, which I would really consider now, except my home value has plummeted, and I can't afford it.

I feel for you, Rodg, and all home owners. There oughtn't to be a law.

Home values everywhere are dropping ... including the price of a home in whatever state you want to move to.

I'll betcha a move to a red state nets you a profit ( a much bigger house ), as property in crowded eastern states is ridiculously overpriced.
