Of all the pictures, that's the one I did need to view. You see, in 20 minutes starts Ash Wednesday, and for Lent I gonna give up smoking.
I've done this before, so it's doable. As of now, I have one cig left before midnight. And if I need more motivation, this pic is it: I will never again look like that asshole.

I wish you the courage and perseverance it takes. This is my 10th (maybe 9th) year off the weed - from 3-4 packs a day. Had to come home from the hospital with an oxygen tank - twice - before I quit cold. No patches, no pills, no chew, no nothing. Still, they killed me. Just ain't happened yet. But, boy, was I a great smoker!

I gave up tobacco 5 or 6 years ago after another funeral for another retired Navy buddy. I saw too many die way before thier time and got scared. Now I give up alcohol for lent. It's gonna be tougher now though.
