Unlike the Limbaugh thing, THIS is a little scary. He made a great point during the campaign, made Obama look like a jackass, and helped McCain.

But this guy is going on foreign policy trips to Israel and shit, and there are Republican Senators sitting there nodding their heads and acting like they're hearing something new and exciting.

It's actually embarrassing, and I thank him for the Obama deal but, it kind of frightens me that the party is so hungry for leadership we're listening to this guy, still.

Joe Wurzelbacher may be the Lech Walesa of the American taxpayer movement.

In 1980, Walesa climbed over a fence at the Lenin Shipyard in Gadansk and challenged the Polish government over work conditions and pay. Because of his initiative, he became the de facto leader of Polish workers protesting against the communist government in Poland.

In 2008, Wurzelbacher challenged BHO about his polices of raising taxes on small businesses. By that initiative, he may become the de facto leader of fiscally responsible Americans protesting against a fiscally irresponsible U.S. government.

Speaking of Joe, the Obama "Spread What's Left of the Wealth" Budget is now out. Here a few thoughts from it:

“While middle-class families have been playing by the rules, living up to their responsibilities as neighbors and citizens, those at the commanding heights of our economy have not.”

Excuse my ignorance, but can't you try to address the problem (?) of people who do not play by existing rules by applying those rules?

“Prudent investments in education, clean energy, health care and infrastructure were sacrificed for huge tax cuts for the wealthy and well-connected.”

Damn you, Dubya, you just did not spend enough!

“There’s nothing wrong with making money, but there is something wrong when we allow the playing field to be tilted so far in the favor of so few. . . . It’s a legacy of irresponsibility, and it is our duty to change it.”

But didn't you pooh-pooh the notion of redistributing the wealth after your inadvertent slip into honesty with Joe the Plumber? What changed your mind, Barry? And how did it feel to actually tell the truth? Scary, right!
