Rodg, if we cain't shoot em, can we invite em in, and lock em up in the basement?
Can we teach them some words that end with it or uck?
"Our Party organizations must be extended all over the country and we must purposefully train tens of thousands of cadres and hundreds of first-rate mass leaders." -- Quotations from Mao Tse Tung
Hitler Youth 2.0.
My plan is to take the clipboard, ostensibly to sign, but instead X-out the Obama Pledge, and write in, "I pledge to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic," sign it, and hand it back.
If questioned, I plan to calmly, politely, explain about the difference between "rule of law" and "rule of men", but frankly, I don't expect to be questioned. Anybody preferring the Constitution to Obama is clearly "argumentative", and at this stage of the game, orders are to disengage from such folk.
What I do expect, at first, is that these "spoiled" pledge forms will be discarded. I'll be watching for when confused looks get replaced by frowns, and dissenting forms are carefully shuffled into a "special" folder.
Why not? I figure I'll be on some list or another sooner or later, if I'm not already. All decent people will be.
Hmm, I need to put together a look-alike form with the Constitutional pledge printed, and start shadowing OFA-ers in public places....
By the way, am I the only who remembers that "ofay", which is the only way I can come up with to pronounce OFA, was a derogatory term for white folks?
If this goes through, white folks should start calling each other "ofay". There's precedent after all.
Turing word: prawn
Ofay pleeeze!
I always thought "ofay" was the pig-Latin pronunciation of "foe".
What does it really stand for then?
This is more than a little scary.. Nice little databases of the urban and suburban areas. Wonder if there is a field the the db like
{} 100% Supporter - Obama stickers on Car and house. Fluent in obamaspeak
{} Signed readily. Enthusiastic
{} Signed after minor cooercing
{} Signed after a long discussion
{} Would not sign - Put on "B" list for re-education under Minister Ayers
{} Argued and quoted the constitution, Had Palin 2012, NRA, Anti obama stickers visible. Other anti social evidence such as religious symbols, .. Put on "A" list for one way travel to Minister Ayers "Special Camps"
bullseye
Seriously though.. I wonder exactly what data they are tablulting.
Chuck, you be correct MOFO.
If any zombies show up at my front door, hawking The Adolescent Who Would Be King, I will kick the sorry asses senseless, then call the cops and claim self defense...
"Rodg, if we cain't shoot em, can we invite em in, and lock em up in the basement?"
But why would you want to fill a basement full of bullshit?
Seemed appropriate at the time, thot they might make good snake food, but then, my military mind, reminded me they would be right at home.
Smile and ask for their identification. Take a digital photo.
It's time to build a list. Two can play at this game.
See, for example, the Urban Dictionary entry for "ofay":
"A word of unspecified West African origin that refers to "white" people. It's commonly used in the American South but has fallen out of favor as "White Devil" has assumed prominence. "
Or this etymology from the Free Dictionary:
"The commonly seen etymology of ofay -- Pig Latin for foe -- is of less interest than the more likely story of this word's origins. The word, which is first recorded in the first quarter of the 20th century, must have been in use much longer if it is, as some scholars think, borrowed from an African source. Although this source has not been pinned down, the suggested possibilities are in themselves interesting. One would trace it to the Ibibio word afia, "white or light-colored." Another would have it come from Yoruba ofe, a word that was said in order to protect oneself from danger. The term was then transferred to white people, regarded as a danger to Black people throughout the wretched days of slavery and beyond."
I cannot believe that, as well educated as Obama is, and as well-steeped in the radical black movement as he must be, given his tutors and trainers, he is not aware of what "OFA" must sound like to anyone who grew up during the 60s and 70sfrom the paying attention.
Well, of course, unless he's really an ignorant puppet. I guess that's possible, too.
And folks, I'm not going to sweat giving them my contact info on their stupid little form, with my pledge scrawled in. When the time comes, they will have name, address, and all the evidence they need for anyone who would refuse to sign.
Modify the pledge, and sign. Defy the baby rapers. Let them know they are not unopposed.
I don't think this is a data collection exercise. This is all about psychological reinforcement, a trick to engage the faithful. It's a way to limber up the machinery, to keep people active and in touch.
It's a way to let the unbelievers know that we're not with it -- it doesn't occur to the obamers that we already know that, are proud of it, and are digging in.
The obamers are, however, hoping for resistance, for anger, for scorn. That turns their little worker bees into victims, reinforces their sense that all those opposed are cranks, justifies the next round of elevated pressure.
I do not think they will know how to deal with simple, steadfast conviction.
Ah, crap. Above comment with etymology and paranoid conspiracy drivel is mine, sorry.
And, aw crap again,
"s/70sfrom the/70s who is/"
For O'Bambi it's 'Oaf eh?'
ofay=Camel shit, or so I was told way back in the early 70's.
Back when it was being popularly used I thought, purely on hunch I guess, that the brothers were shortening the word offal in that cute little way that they have of shortening words.
