Hail Obama's 100th!

OMFG
UPDATED
AP poll shows independents not sold on Obama
A new Associated Press reveals only 17 percent of self-described political independents think America is  “heading in the right direction” under Barack Obama. It seems higher taxes, higher spending, higher debt and nationalizing industry isn’t winning over independent voters.

The percentage of Americans who believe Elvis is or might still be alive is higher than that of political independents who think Obama has America heading in the right direction ... .

When I saw that Drudge headline I actually yelled WTF?  But with who;e words.  Which earned a "don't talk like that" rebuke from someone in the living room.  But puh-leeze.  Of the three voting pillars  that propped Obama before the election, only the first two could still  manage to wring"greatness" out of the urine soaked mop that is this Administration.

And I was right.  The Drudge story link goes to Politico's story about how Obama wants people to see him.  April 29 will be the 100th day of Barack Obama’s presidency. White House senior adviser David Axelrod calls the 100th day a “Hallmark holiday,”  so his staff developed talking points to aide the media in delivering a coherent assessment.

  1. Obama is a promise-keeper.
The White House is pushing back against what it realizes is a dangerous perception ...
  2. Obama is a game-changer.The White House is worried that the public does not sufficiently grasp Obama’s view that his ideas fit together in a coherent strategy ...
  3. Obama is the decider.
The White House is worried that the public does not sufficiently grasp Obama’s view that his ideas fit together in a coherent strategy ...
  4. Obama’s not in the bubble.Look for more stories about how the president reads 10 letters from ordinary Americans every day
  5. Obama is not FDR.These times are different than the those of the New Deal, they say, and it will take time for Obama’s version of “bold, persistent experimentation” to take root in meaningful ways.
  6. Obama is FDR.Even as they officially distance themselves from it, White House aides make clear they love the New Deal analogies.
  7. Obama is one cool cucumber.
The White House loves the image of a calmly competent president who never loses his head — or his temper ..

Items rejected include:
  1. Obama is really a natural born citizen
Why open that can of worms
  2. He's an eloquent speaker without a teleprompter
    quia impossibile
Putz.

If I was a Marxist I'd think he's the "greatest President ever" too.

A while back, I heard a political commentator say that it's best to be a political independent. His reasoning was that people who ally themselves with a party are taken for granted. The politicians know which way they are going to vote.

Therefore, the only people who politicians really care about are the independents. The corollary is that if you want to get the most out of your vote, you have to be an independent. Make the bastards earn your vote.

I can't stand Obama and to hear anyone say he is a good speaker, makes me feel like throwing up.
At the grocery store while waiting to check out I stand there and if Obama or his wife are on any cover of a magazine I turn the batch of them around with the back of the magazine facing out. I could care less if anyone sees me do it. LOL I am sick of this freako Soutpiel puppet with a teleprompter.
Our answering machine at home I had to do something with too. So now if someone calls they hear.." Nicholas and Chrissie are not able to come to the phone right now we are too busy watching Obama destroy our country, please leave your name and number and we will call you back when we can.". Mostly I have gotten good responses from it. LOL Including the air conditioner man that had an appt. The guy from Comcast loved it. heh heh
Little things I know but it helps to keep me sane...sort of. hahaha

Love your post and Blog and agree with you totally 100%.

Should read: "... will call you back if anything is left."
