Civil War II starts in 5, 4, 3, 2...
We DO NOT want the horror of civil war. Secession is the only solution, a military coup notwithstanding. I of course mean that in a constituionally, all-American good way.
She reminds me of the British Foreign Minister who said that the "Mangey British Lion" had no business messing in the affairs on other continents.
Maybe not, but anybody who refers to their own country in such a manner in public has no business being a minister of the state.

Great.
You guys secede. Leaving me here.
Quitters.

Secede, HELL! But the idea of Civil War II intrigues me. I've got three weeks vacation coming, and nine weeks sick time, followed by six months unpaid personal leave (so I can "get my sh-t togeather....)
Count me IN!

"We DO NOT want the horror of civil war....." - No, but that's what we're gonna get sooner or later. These MFCS (includes just about everyone in Gov) just don't realize that yet. Or they do and that's the idea.

It's my (and other's) position that the 1861 fracas was a rebellion of the states - eleven of them, not a civil war. There was bloody fighting, but there were boundaries, each side was uniformed, operated under an elected government, and observed certain basic rules of warfare. Civil war never really ends. Neighbor kills neighbor in a world of black terror. The bitterness is passed from generation on ..
Anyone agree?

Rodge, that's the best description of Europe I've ever read!
Roger I agree. A civil war never works out well for the country that has one. Look at France, they went through hell. The US didn't have a great time of it last time, and some folks still aren't over it. If we do have a civil war what comes out the other side will never be the same as what we have, and are losing, now.
Thank you ET. That settles that. :)
