The Party of Hate and Ineptness

If there's a debacle, or congressional graft ..

Emanuel, a foul-mouthed would-be tough guy  ... the hallmark of this administration
“When you're the party of no, when you're the party of never, when you're the party of no new ideas, that's not constructive&hellip. The challenge will be: Will the Republicans come to the table with constructive ideas?”

GM is Becoming a Royal Debacle:  So King Barack the Mild is finding as he tries to dictate the terms of what amounts to an out-of-court bankruptcy for Chrysler and GM. He wants Chrysler's secured lenders to give up their right to nearly full recovery in a bankruptcy in return for 15 cents on the dollar. They'd be crazy to do so, of course, except that these banks also happen to be beholden to the administration for TARP money.

Emanuel's Story Line is Fishy:  On ABC's “This Week” on Sunday, Emanuel had this to say about President Barack Obama's critics on the right: “When you're the party of no, when you're the party of never, when you're the party of no new ideas, that's not constructive&hellip. The challenge will be: Will the Republicans come to the table with constructive ideas?”

Senate Ethics Committee Needs to Investigate Feinstein:  Yesterday, the Washington Times revealed that Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) offered on October 30th, 2008 to secure funds for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) directly on the heels of the agency awarding a three-year contract to CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), a company run by Feinstein's husband, Richard Blum.

An Alarming Trend:  That appears to be the Obama Administration's latest tactic to achieve greater government control over liberty, the economy, and mankind's ability to tread water. And again, it's with phony science. Anxieties were raised last week to the highest levels yet about islands sinking into the sea, the elimination of entire nations, and even the reduction of coastlines to certain U.S. states if, of course, carbon emissions are not immediately reduced.
