This, from Chicago Boyz, is self rising ... .
Extremely Disturbing

Obama has nominated Cass Sunstein, who he knows from the University of Chicago, to be “regulatory czar.” Apparently, Sunstein has proposed that web sites be required to link to opposing opinions. He has argued that the Internet is anti-democratic because users can choose to view only those opinions that they want to see, and has gone so far as to say:

A system of limitless individual choices, with respect to communications, is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government,” he wrote. “Democratic efforts to reduce the resulting problems ought not be rejected in freedom’s name.

While this idea is, or damn well ought to be a constitutional nonstarter, I've decided to comply on my own, and link to sites that espouse  opinions contrary to my own. For instance, I'm pretty sure that many of the people associated with any of these organizations will disagree that they're corn encrusted turds.

You missed the boat Rodger, the article says opposing opinions, and those folk just spout the party line, no opinion, just sheeple following the Nigerian imposer.

It seems to me that someone hasn't thought this one through.

Does this mean that the DNC will have to link to the RNC and vice versa? Sure it would.

But it would also mean that, for instance, Murtha's campaign site would have to link to a website that is anti-murtha. That might be fun but of course, anti-pedophile sites would be forced to link to NAMBLA.

Any website promoting the Brady Act would have to link to the NRA.

All those anti-fur/save the baby seal sites would have to link to fur coat manufacturers.

As usual, it just goes to show what happens when you think liberal ideas all the way through to their illogical conclusion... you end up with chaos and confusion.

Reductio ad absurdum - nice shot drummerman.

Rodge, fwiw, I don't feel like being spammed by those sites so I'm not going to give them a chance to harvest my info by visiting any of them. Problem I see is that as soon as those sites have to link to C&S, KisP, et al., the loons will destroy the content because they will have "found" you. Right now, it requires actual thought and action on their parts to move away from their Kool Aid suppliers. One click, ctrl-V into the comments section, and instantly you have pages of their vomit with no need for them to be more than the droids that they are. It will be enough to make one pray for a Conficker induced meltdown.

Try Feenamint—You won’t feel bad any longer.”.............................Sure brings back memories, doesn't it, and aren't you glad that Cass Sunstein will be "regularity czar"?...........Wha?..Huh?...."“regulatory czar.” ......Oh sh*t...........What the hell is a “regulatory czar.”?
