And a "I don't want to answer, but I'm curious about the results" would be nice.
But mostly I don't care. Polls like that wind up getting stuffed by tards from HuffPo and DU anyways. -

As of 8:45 CST, the voting stood at 13% for removing the motto and 87% for keeping it. Apparently there are more folks on our side of the street then MSNBC would have thought (as if they ever had anything approaching an original thought before).

Spunky Texan, actually, I'm told some of the original states DID have an official state religion. That's why Jefferson
was more proud of his work on Virginia's statute for religious freedom than he was of being President.
Any reference to religion in the original Constitution referred only to the powers of the federal government. They used to take Amendments 9 and 10 much more seriously back then.
I think it's Amendment 14 that spoiled everything once the lawyers got hold of it. It was a good idea at the time, but now it is interpreted as superceding every other amendment:
Fourteenth Amendment - Rights Guaranteed Privileges and Immunities of Citizenship, Due Process and Equal Protection
Amendment Text | Annotations
Section. 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
