Senate scum

CQ Politics: As a bonus for joining the Democrats, Sen. Arlen Specter loses the “Snarlin’ Arlen” tag placed there because he dared to cross-examine Hill on her false charges of sexual harassment.

I won’t even go into how these same feminists fought to protect Bill Clinton from facing the music for his serial sexual harassment and his perjury.

Kathleen Hunter of CQ Politics recalled that Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., said she was spurred to run for the Senate because of th Hill hearing.

Now that he is a Democrat, Sen. Murray said: “Obviously, when you work with somebody and you know that they go to work and fight for some of the same things you believe in, that reflects on how you feel about them… I certainly know Arlen Specter from a lot of legislation that I’ve worked on with him since I’ve been here . . . and I respect him for that.”

Democrats stand for power. Nothing more. Nothing less. Their various causes — gay marriage, women’s rights — are just window dressing.

In short, Arlen Specter is finally home again to the party he dumped so he could get elected 44 years ago.--  Don Surber
Nothing to add here boss.

Patty Murray is a female. Can you really trust a reporter that makes such a mistake? Oh thats right I meant to say "can you really trust a reporter."

"Stand up Chuck..."

Back in 1964, Arlen Specter got the well-earned moniker of "Specter the Defector" when he jumped from the Democrat Party to join the Republicans. Now he rightfully regained that title the other day when he jumped back to the Democrats, not for some obscure political ideology the Dems might have, but to keep himself in office next year. He figured out that he would get his sorry, scrawny ass kicked in the next Pennsylvania primary by Toomey if if he stayed Republican. This is nothing but political self-preservation on his part.

Is this not the best argument for term limits EVER?

Losing Spector the Defector to the Dems is no great loss to the Republicans, since he sided with the liberal Dems most of the time. But it is no great win for the Dems, either. After all, the old fart is 89 and, with any luck, probably won't be around too much longer anyway.
