PM Gordon Brown's unfortunate reference to Normandy's "Obama Beach" gave me the hook I needed to bring this amazing video of how the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan were filmed to the big screen.

Positively amazing! What a totally cool job (to have) as graphic designers.
We were appreciating Sarkozy's speech this morn, apart from all the Michelle close-ups. Anyone notice she was a wearing translator headset? WTF Misha, no second language? Not even the one hizself. Phony bastids.

Glad Teh One and company could work in a visit to Omaha Beach this trip. I know they were busy and on a tight schedule, what with kissing Muzzie ass and pissing on Israel and all.
