That, IMHO, is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, especially Father's Day.
Happy father's Day Rodge!

PS: How much per bushel or dozen this year? Any Jimmies available?

The Chinese have a saying (for just about everything, I think) that after a good meal, the table should resemble a battlefield.

Well done. It looks like you won.

Stella Artois and a wooden mallet?

I think you're trying to pass off a North Carolina banquet as a Maryland one. The tin of Old Bay doesn't fool me.

Real Marylanders would not be using a wooden mallet. They'd know that the handle of a stainless steel table knife is best for cracking.

The beer? Reading if you want it cheap; Pilsner Urquell if you want the good stuff. Stella smacks of noveau-riche.

I presume you went down to NC for the weekend. Or maybe tidewater. Either way, I hope you had some real blue crabs; they're so hard to find any more.

Pretentious or not, that Stella is good shit.

Stanley orders his favorite beer... It's rude , but effective.
