Gored Burgers

Today's Burger Hero

Axe yourself this.  If "Global Warming"  isn't a political con game, why all the fuss over a few Burger King restaurants saying just that?  Questioning bad political policy, and risking rebuke by some of their ignorant, or left-wing goon customers,  is nothing if not American.  Home of the Brave, and all that.

The response seems to argue that GW acceptance is today's  phrenology exam, employed by the late monster Mr. H to decide who was worthy of continued life.  Three Cheers for Mirabile Investment Corporation for doing what too few American corporations have shown the nerve to do, maintain principles in the face of an increasingly hostile government apparatus.   And to Burger King Corp., worried about making the politburo angry -   "EAT ME." It's time to make a stand.

Might have to start eating at "The home of the Whopper" more often. Always liked their breakfast menu.

You want hard proof?

Pictures taken 5-25...we have fishermen on the lake usually by
the mid of May, now there still 4 feet of snow on the runway and
fice feet of ice on the lake.

Some global warming! Look more like a mini ice age to me...

Rodge, dint your mum ever tell you not to believe everything you read in British newspapers? Allow me to translate.

English: Media attempts to contact MIC to establish why it was taking an apparently defiant stance were rebuffed, but the Guardian managed to grill MIC's marketing president, John McNelis.

American: Obviously we're just inventing this controversy, cuz we got nothing newsworthy to print.

It makes perfect business sense to me. Why would Burger King play to the "green"-peta-vege-crowd, when red blooded Americans eat beef and aren't duped by every passing gubmint fancy? You go BK; but lose the BK King character that gives me nightmares.
