Let us not get distracted with the "where was he born and where is his long form birth certificate" mantra. This gets you branded as a "birther" and minimized with the "mainstream". The better point to be making is Obama has freely admitted his father was a British subject when 0 was born. This is the actual smoking gun. Historically (as in when the Constitution was written), the father passes on his citizenship to his children. That means that 0 was, at best, a dual citizen at birth.
0 may be a citizen, but his dual citizenship at birth means he is not a "natural born" citizen and therefore isn't eligible to be president. Now we just need the supreme court to agree with this historical interpretation. This approach is a point of law, not a "conspiracy" theory.
.
First, being labeled a "birther," or anything else by those cretins is of no consequence to me, nor should it be to you. It's what the democrat media complex does when they feel threatened.
Second, I haven't discounted his dual citizenship problems - Kenyan or Indonesian. In fact, the way Michelle came unglued over that scheduled interview in Kenya by API (African Press International) was both startling and telling - if true. Quote:
-----------
(“African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view,” and she went to state that, “it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that [m]y husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner” says Michelle Obama on telefon [sic] to API."
------------
But, I'm not a reporter, nor am I a journalist. I go where my nose leads me, and there is something very smelly about Obama's Hawaiian bona fides, if they exist at all. But, y'all strike from the other flank. I think we're about to nail him, and what a thing that will set off.
.
The thing that gives this issue fire for me is why would they/he make the choice not to flop out the real deal in the first place? Or even a plausible forgery?
If someone makes an idiotic statement contrary to fact, a normal person simply whips out the gold-standard proof of the idiot's idiocy and goes on about his day. This is not what's happening.
All behavior/choices have a purpose/goal: what's the goal in ignoring the issue if it is, indeed, idiotic? To give Teh Wookie room to fling dung and the term "raacist?" [who's stoppin' her?]
A set-up to lure in bubbas and make 'em/us look dumb? [time's run out on that kind of gotcha]
Ignore it and hope it'll go away? [FAIL]
Minimize, marginalize, and defeat? [FAIL]
All I know [so far] is they're using a whole lot of resources on it; records sealed by state of HI, no hospitals willing to go on record, no old doctors/nurses willing/able to speak up and say, "yeah I delivered the kid," ...
No one squanders *their own* resources fer nuttin'... just sayin'
