See where Walter Cronkite kicked off. No loss there - a lot of people thought of ol Uncle Walter. BS - this fat ol sob is the main reason we lost Vietnam. It was won but good ol Walter didn't like it and swayed public opinion by telling them lies and bingo a victory was turned into a big waste of human life. We came out of Vietnam looking like whipped puppies and that fat son of a bitch thinks he did something real good. Bite me you bastard. My buddy Mac was in nam and had no use for you - this is for you buddy!

I used to think he was an honorable man, but when I heard how he completely mis-reported Tet, I lost all respect. From what I have read on the net, he was a socialist at best and a communist at worst.
But, of course, he took all he could get from the evil capitalist system. Saw pics on FNC last night of him at the helm of his sailboat. Which probably cost more than my house.
I don't shed one tear for this sob.
The word is hypocrite. "from each according to ..." Sure. Bite me.

I wrote a long comment about him the other day and the computer burped right as I went to post it. I didnt re-do it cause I was lazy. He started the trend towards advocacy instead of reporting. When the press helped finish off Nixon, their true colors started to show. They managed to steer the sheeple to McCain through selective reporting. And they are starting to pay. People want news, not propaganda. Fox is kicking ass and the papers are starting to fold. The good guys will win. Screw Walt!

Ha, forty years ago Rodg, sitting at Camp Carroll, reading the message that LBJ ordered all bombing north of the DMZ stopped. Didn't have CNN then nor any 24/7 news, heck we didn't even have TVs there.
But, the gnus pee-pulls back in the states made sure our people thought pretty negative of us.
And, so, B Hussein says because we were volunteers, we don't need no stinkin care...remember the sds? and the rest of the commie CSMFs?

In 50 years I went from trusting the people who brought us the news, to distrusting and disliking them, and ultimately to hating and totally disregarding the MSM... The man who was instrumental in introducing skepticism and even fear of the, especially tv,media people was the beloved Walter "lyingMF" Crankcase.... Screw him very much!...I didn't have anything good to say about him when he was alive, and I ain't starting now!
