A note of caution regarding US socialism medicine system under consideration:
The system will give you the very best healthcare it can afford.
Unfortunately it cannot afford much due to the inherent inefficiencies
and waste. So it will force prices down by law. That means standards
and quality of care will drop to the level of what the government's low
offer is worth, or else supply will dry up because it will be
impossible to offer proper quality care at the government's price.
Artificially forcing higher supply creates low quality. Artificially
imposing low prices creates shortages. The Soviet Union learned that.
Why has the US ignored that basic economics lesson?
Good night. Lagom

To
project forward, it means that "tipping" will become commonplace as
those who can afford scramble for the better "table, " and more "meat
in the soup," so to speak. This from Today's Financial News sums up nicely.

It’s
not our way to selflessly provide traffic for other sites. But this
article… on how the Obama Administration is using a combination of
smoke and mirrors and Hitlerian Notstandsgesetzgebung (emergency
legislation) to pass sweeping changes to the U.S. healthcare system
without as much as a courtesy nod to democratic debate… needs to be
read by any responsible American adult.
