Nevada-Utah Feud?

Yet Another WTF?
Nevada: Utah Right-to-Carry permits no longer accepted

Big changes to gun laws in nearby Nevada may change how some Utahans travel through there. Nevada is recognizing concealed carry permits from states like West Virginia and Ohio, but not Utah anymore.

Say what? That's stupid. Wish one could put vocal inflection in a comment like this.
What was that bill in Congress to make all states recognize all other states ccw's just like drivers licenses?

Looks like some NV 'crats and pols need to be spanked.

Just because it doesn't effect Nevadans doesn't mean gunowners there will let you get away with it.

"Concealed" means concealed.
Just sayin'.

W.Va.State Attorney Darrell McGraw is trying to get all States to recognize CCW from other States.
Like Mr. McGraw,I believe if other States honor your Drivers License they should honor your carry permit.
People should worry more about those that carry without a permit.

Actually it's because Utah doesn't have a live fire portion in their concealed carry course. Kinda stupid. And it's the Sheriff's Assoc. that decides on this stuff I think. They are having a meeting soon.

This is bad news. I got my UT non-resident CCW here in CA ('cuz we is a "MAY issue" state, and not a "SHALL issue state like UT), and use it to cross NV on the way to most everywheres. Of course the UT non-res is of no use in CA, but I count on it across the country when traveling ... especially with the kids.

Get your UT non-res here: http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/CFnewapp.html

Good in these states (reciprocity): AL, AK, CO, FL, GA, LA, MS, NH, NC, ND, OH, PA, SD, TX, VA, WA, WV, and in these states (recognize UT CCW): AZ, AK, DE, ID, IN, KY, MI, MN, MO, NM, OK, TN, VT, WY.
