I'm having trouble with the "Dear" Leader. Dear implies value, preciousness, etc., as in my Dear Wife. Of course, he is costing us dearly.

Dear TrueBlueSam, it's called sarcasm by alluding to the title's "bestowed upon" commumnist despots such as Dear Leader Kim in North Korea by his greatful subjects.
