Climate Change Oops!

Global Unpantsing
 CA.GOV is the California Climate Change Portal.  Featured on the front page are graphics (above) showing Greenland's surface ice melt in the years 1992, 2002, and 2005.  Don't know if that's prediction, or what they claim is  fact.  Don't matter.  The rollover is a Google Earth satellite shot of Greenland taken as we speak, more-or-less. Speaks for itself, and Goreons everywhere.  (Via FreeRepublic)

Yay-- more farmland! Just like there was in the time of the Vikings. [Oh wait; they couldn't have had global warming then. What am I thinking?]

HFS! Am I the only one to notice that while Leifericsonland has a fine cover of ice, THE ENTIRE ARCTIC ICECAP has disappeared?

Jeez, I know Congress has been on recess and Congresscritters and our Dear Leader have been blowing their hot air in every wide spot in the road, but???

The P-38 Glacier Girl landed on the Greenland ice cap in 1942 and was abandoned. When excavated in 1992, it was 268 feet under the ice which had accumulated over it.
