I have legal custody of my grandson. He will not participate in the political propaganda coming out of the White House on September 8. 2009.
I rest my case.
"Today, we celebrate the first glorious anniversary of the Information Purification Directives. We have created, for the first time in all history, a garden of pure ideology, where each worker may bloom secure from the pests of contradictory and confusing truths. Our Unification of Thoughts is more powerful a weapon than any fleet or army on earth. We are one people, with one will, one resolve, one cause. Our enemies shall talk themselves to death and we will bury them with their own confusion. We shall prevail!"
I watched that video - the one where the idiots from Hollywood say "I pledge...". A lot of it was standard liberal tripe "I pledge ... to turn in my obnoxious car for a hybrid". When it got to the point where somebody said "I pledge ... to be a servant to Barack Obama" I screamed "Noooooooooooo!!!".
Children should not be exposed to this horror.
Wrong, CDR J.
They need to be exposed to it. And you need to be there, right next to them, explaining why this is horrible stuff.
Variation on what Kristopher said... I asked a woman at work how she plans to handle all this. She has a 6 year old girl. Her plan is to sit down and talk with ehr daughter about this before she goes to school, and then to discuss it when she gets home. I have met her kid, and for one of 6, she seems to be pretty savvy.
