There's an article by historian and author Dr. David Kaiser making the e-mail rounds. You can read it here [History Unfolding]
without all the harlequin colors and jumbo fonts that are seemingly de
rigeur for e-mailed stuff.. There's some very unusual things
about it however.
- It's well written, and accurately states facts.
- It appears on, among others, a site name "Liberal Forum." Here's a snip, so you'll see why that's unusual.

We
have now established the precedent of protesting every close election
(violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial
that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and
one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?)
We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected
judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then
mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting
system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

You don't often get truths
like that from outfits with "liberal" in their name, wot? Not
since Adam Smith anyway, when liberal meant progressive, but not
today's progressive, which means communist. Words. That's
why actions are what counts. Here's action.
- Dr. David Kaiser is a run of the mill leftist academic, which is to say pompous, arrogant, and condescending. This from his blog, History Unfolding .

A Report from the Trenches
But I must begin once again with the matter that has quadrupled the
traffic here at historyunfolding: the totally fraudulent email that has
been circulating since around April, attributing a right-wing rant
comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler to myself. May I ask anyone
who has received it to go back to the email they received, hit "reply
all," and inform all recipients that it is a forgery whose origins are
explained at snopes.com.

Normally I'd take someone's word for it, but - well, he is a liberal and you know how they lie. Snopes parrots his demurrer however, and states:
The original is also commonly attributed to Pamela Geller, having appeared in her Atlas Shrugs blog on13 November 2008. However, Ms. Geller
notes in her introductory statement that "I wish I had written it" and
indicates it originated as a reader comment posted to yet another blog.

Just a guess, but this paper might be the best thing he ever wrote, had he. Go read it. Hell, if Pam Geller doesn't want to, I'll take credit for it.
