I'm happy to see them adopt a battle flag. It augers well for a war against the states, between uniformed soldiers, rather than a civil war that can never really end. Those who think this ideological gulf can be bridged without a fight are, I'm afraid, daydreaming. JFC, let's have at it while I can still participate.

I mean all this in the Jeffersonian way.

Exactly. No discussion or debate is possible between people that hold opposite view on fundamental ideas. There simply isn't any common ground. The question is therefore "who starts the shooting"?

I've seen this coming for about the last 10 years. I was hoping it'd happen after my lifetime. Now I'm wondering if "the revolution" will occur in the next 3 years or so.
