Barack Obama a key win on his No. 1 domestic priority. |

I was just working on Chapter 27 of my novel. It's where House Speaker Yancy Pissoir is on a Hoover Dam catwalk for a ceremonial ribbon cutting. One of the dignitaries is wondering whether to push her over the railing. That's where I am now.

I just had this dream about Natcy Pelosi's accident at the Hoover Dam. She either fell or was pushed over the edge and is dangling over the cataract holding on to the ribbon.
The moral question is:
do I ask for or demand that the ribbon-cutter hand me the scissors?
Okay, yeah, it's not a moral question, just an etiquette one. - 11/8/09, 12:21 AM

Cao and the two democrats elected Tuesday were nominally the difference. Nominally because don't think for a minute that some of those nay saying donks wouldn't have stepped into the breech if Pelosi made them. As Byron York noted, "The thing that Pelosi has going for her right now is that a lot of her members are more afraid of her than they are of their constituents."

Just a bunch of gutless nancies that is what they are. Hmmmm I made a funny. This is getting serious - if this damn thing passes senate we are indeed fucked and we have no alternatives now do we? Hope all you assholes that voted for hope n change are happy with what you are getting - you deserve to be drawn and quartered, burned, stomped out and then hurt.

Minnick D-Idaho voted against it but he's still a slimey Dem at heart, voting NO on the Stupak amendment to ban fedgov funds for abortion under the healthtakeover bill. Typical donkey shenanigans, the headline vote to mollify his conservative district, but a stright partyline vote against anything that crimps their style on babykilling...

The NUTC allowed Stupak to be voted on because she knows damned well the Senate version will have no such language and will be stripped out in reconciliation. How can any American have allegiance to the new nation being formed by this minority? I'll tell you how. Future Fear.

Rog, in my novel, I have my thumb stuck into her neck pulling her esophogus aside, while I watch the look of surprise on her face.

It would appear ther Stephanie Herseth Sandlin took a page out of the Tom Daschle history book, and realized that SD is not necessarily as liberal as thought, and she might not be able to get reelected. I understand there have been some comms with her intimating caution.

I thought I was standing on some pebbles but when I looked down I could see it was Pelosi's fingers and she was hanging on by her fingernails. Her other hand was slipping closer to the edge but the one I was standing on was pined tightly to the concrete walkway.
She locked up at me with that scornful look on her face and yelled "Get off my fingers you right wing MFCSSOB!"
So I did. - 11/8/09, 9:14 PM
