Obama and Bacon

Two thoughts


This thought occurred to me moments ago.  Had any one of the early plots to remove Hitler from power succeeded, I doubt the carnage that was WWII would have happened.  On the other hand, had Lenin been vaporized in, say 1921, his shoes would have been quickly filled by any number of a cadre of rabid dogs in his entourage.  Obama is in the Lenin mold.  His entire apparatus needs dismantling.  Then I though about  bacon, which I'm now eating.

If the British sniper that had Hitler in his sights in '43 would have dinged him, the war would have turned in the German favor and gone into 1950. Hitler flubbed every decision EVERY time. He was our greatest tactical asset.

If lee harvey O had not shot JFK, LBJ would not have done "Great Society" and there would have been a lot more educated productive people in the world and a lot less in prison or on welfare.
If Jimmy Goober had not allowed Iran to hold the embassy, then no Russkies in Afghanistan, no "jihad" to jazz up OBL and AlQeda and the Taliban and maybe no 9/11.
If HRC had done WJC, there would not have been a Monica, "that woman", and likely there would have been enough time & political juice to handle OBL properly...
If the D's had not blocked ANWR and offshore, there would not have been the $5/gallon gas price, if Bawney had not been able to jazz up CRA, then Fred/Fan could not have sold all the rancid mortages to Wall St, likely we might have avoided the messed up economy in Fall 08. And thus Obambi.

There's a lotta "ifs and buts..", but sometimes one little thing can have a big effect.

Can someone do the same and blame the R's the same way? I doan theen so...

You realize that what is on those mens shirts is a reverse swastika, I believe. Any rate, it was considered a good luck charm by the Navajo, as I understand it, long before Hitler took it up.

The swastica was also used by American and Russian Socialists in the early Twentieth Century, well before Hitler's rein..... I have seen a photograph of an American ambulance in WWI with a swastica painted on it's side....Perhaps a socialist group had something to do with it's purchase or staffing, or more than likely it was being used simply as a "peace" symbol.

The carnage that was Japan attacking East Asia and the U.S. would have still happened.

The people who enabled Hitler would have still been around enabling someone.

I vote for more "removal plots".

Yep. Hitler stole it.

Both Native Americans and religions in India used it extensively.

Could you not insult perfectly good people using a symbol they owned for thousands of years?

I'm sure you can find some a-holes using Hitler's reversed Swastica.
