Boom-Boom-Boom

Today's Idea
 
One problem behind our current economic woes is the loss of our industrial base.  There is, however, one area where home-grown ingenuity and local manufacturing team to offer potential for a sales explosion on the order of early PCs, and iPods.  'Bama Darlin' sent me this video of one prime example.  Tell me you wouldn't buy it today, if you could. So way can't you?

That's one of the weapons on my step-son's X-Box 360 game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2". It does the trick when you're trying to fight yourself out of the favela (slum) in Rio de Janeiro.

I don't know why this is, but while I really wouldn't cotton to making a basement full auto rifle, I can "see" how to make one of these. Loose tolerances I guess. Not as elegant, of course, but working. Loaded with 12 gauge slugs, we're talking 18mm, full auto cannon! Come onnnn EPA!

How about a 6 barrel gatling gun version? Mounted on a Hummer or SUV for intimate occasions or CodePink urban actions.

Think what that would do to a giant puppet head. Not to mention the puppeteers.
