On Line TV Series

Dirty Bomb Diaries

A few months ago, a friend of mine told me about an online show called “The Dirty Bomb Diaries.”  While I was skeptical at first, as I had not watched much online media, I was pleasantly surprised by the 16-episode drama.  The show follows the story of an unprepared woman as she deals with the fallout of a dirty bomb attack in her city. From finding food and water, to dealing with possible nuclear poisoning the show was riveting from start to finish. [More]

It took her 16 days to do what she should have done on the first day.

The 2 greatest areas of exposure to terrorism in this country are:
(1)dirty bombs made from radioactive hospital waste, and (2)subway bombings.

Neither would cost much to perpetrate.

Dirty bombs in metrolpolitan areas would be cataclsimic and subway bombings would be very disruptive.

These threats were frightening enough under GWB.

Under Barack, they are worse, because he views the real enemy to be CO2, Gitmo, enhanced interrogation techniques, etc.

If you want to read a freaking scary ass book, try "One Second After" It's about the aftermath of an EMP attack.

That was a pretty entertaining hour-a couple big holes like 13 days to come to the conclusion she needed a gun? And visqueen to stop radiation?

Frugal Squirrel still has "Lights Out" on line. It's a pretty good read.
