Sam the Wonder Cat is terrified of rainstorms. Since he's a rescue, my theory is that in a prior domicile, he was left out in the rain way too many times. As a result, when it is raining heavily, it frightens him greatly and he runs to me and puts his rather LARGE head into my armpit. This is apparently the location of safety in his little feline mind! When it happens at 3 a.m., it is a tad disconcerting, but heavenly days - I do love him - so it's actually not a problem.
