That kinda reminded me of Uncle Frank Zappa, so I'm imagining TRKOF's new bidness enterprise:

Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a Dental Floss tycoon
(yes I am)
Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a mennil-toss flykune
I'm pluckin' the ol' Dennil Floss
That's growin' on the prairie
Pluckin' the floss!
I plucked all day an' all nite an' all Afternoon...
By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss
But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss

Let's get up a group and go.

I was facinated by the near incompehensible drivel proclaiming the 2nd ammendment doesn't proect individual anything. And the several comments proclaiming themselves smarter than the 'hicks'. Fine examples of artificial self esteem.

A reply to the jailhouse lawyer over there who overuses caps to scream his screed that to bear arms is a collective or only a military right:
The Militia Act of 1792 clarified whom the militia consists of; " Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, That each and every free able-bodied white male citizen of the respective States, resident therein, who is or shall be of age of eighteen years, and under the age of forty-five years (except as is herein after excepted) shall severally and respectively be enrolled in the militia....

Tench Coxe, (1755-1824) who attended the Constitutional Convention in Annapolis, explained in the Pennsylvania Federal Gazette on June 18, 1789 the founders' definition of who the militia was intended to be and their inherent distrust of standing armies under the direct control of 'civil rulers' when he wrote:
The militia of these free commonwealths, entitled and accustomed to their arms, when compared with any possible army, must be tremendous and irresistible. Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American ...the unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people....
Whereas civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as military forces, which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms.

UNITED STATES CODE
TITLE 10 - ARMED FORCES
Subtitle A - General Military Law
PART I - ORGANIZATION AND GENERAL MILITARY POWERS
CHAPTER 13 - THE MILITIA
§ 311. Militia: composition and classes
(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have...

Governments prefer unarmed peasants. Free citizens bear weapons, slaves do not.

The huge full-time military establishment currently maintain by the U.S. is an historical aberation. For the majority of our nation's existance, we relied upon short-term volunteer forces and state militias.

I've always wondered how the same Libtards who claim to fear big government abuse still want to disarm the only counter-weight to tyranny -- a heavily-armed citizenary.

Any government that seeks our wholesale disarmament is my enemy. Bring it on, Slick! I and my friends (Mr. Heckler, Mr. Koch, and the beloved M1911A1) are waiting.

The gift that keeps on giving -- Here's another beauty comment .

"I'll say it again, secession or a break up of the US into smaller countries in a EU style confederacy wouldn't break my heart. I'd love to see conservative states/countries sink or swim with their hard wired economic philosophies....and then we can talk about building fences to keep hillbillies out of our secular states because of the leprosy they bring and because they take our jobs. That'll be fun!"

If anyone out there is seriously considering moving to Montana, consider a few things. Don't think about living in the Flathead Lake area, or in or near Bozeman and the areas south toward Yellowstone Park unless you have more money than you can ever use. The Hollywood-types have virtually taken over these areas of the state. Prices there, especially in real estate and property taxes, have gone up exponentially because of their incursions. and be cautious about going to the central part of the state also. David Letterman bought a small ranch abut 20 miles west of Choteau a few years ago, so it is very possible land prices could go way up in that area also.

I am not a true native of Montana, born in Seattle but raised in Montana from age 4. Choteau is about 75 miles south of the town of Cut Bank, where my wife and I were raised and graduated from high school. And Flathead Lake is only 150 or so miles west of Cut Bank with Glacier Park in between. Montana is a great place to live, but be cautious about where you decide to settle. And remember one other thing: It gets COLD there in the winter. And the wind east of the mountains rarely quits, summer or winter.

I would love to live there again but we are getting too old (mid-70s) to pack up and move back.

The dumbass lefties who want secession should take a hard look at unemployment rates by state.

Guess which ones have economies on the skids?

Thats the point Kristopher. If they got their wish (to rid themselfs of the hicks etc.) they would wallow in their own filth and depravity. A win-win in my book. Just like watching retired union members recoil in horror at the idea of the nursing homes they live in unionizing.

I live in the oldest settlement in MT. Its a great place. One reason for the activities of these people seems to be causing the local turnip-brains to undergo head explosions... very entertaining. The "MT Human Rights Network" is no doubt having kittens. It also creates great publicity to ward off the Letterman types. All the leftist crap you could ever desire is just 40 miles to the north. C'mon down! Bring your union suits - it's winter here.

Jimmy don\'t play that
