Back when I worked in the hobby shop, when women would bring in their kids with a broken r/c cars. I'd look the thing over and say something like, "Your phase inducers are out of alignment causing fluctuations in your gravimetric converters." The kid would giggle and his mom would look baffled.

The tech is full of it. He didn't even mention the Sigmoidoscope, which every good tech knows is the diagnostic tool of choice for that problem, also for delivering the repair bill to the stunned customer.
