This is a ridiculous attempts at cheaply revising history.
Hitler was attacking big business and high finance? What about all the
wealthy industrials who profited from Hitler's war-machine and from the
concentration camps industry?
Hitler was expanding access to
education? Or was it access to propaganda?
No wonder this Goldberg
was on Fox News. Such cheap arguments are juicy material for easy
explotation by Fox's neoliberal (neo liberal?) idiocratic agenda.
Let me set the
record straight.
This is revisionism of the cheapest sort.

Glen Beck is an idiot. A major reason why people followed Hitler
and the National Socialists was because of their fear of the Communists.
The Nazis wanted to return to a day when their nation was
pure, before the immigrants moved in, before homosexuals came out, to
stop the long haired swing kids, their era of hippie, to cut the
national debt, to have a strong military and to re-arm the Rhineland, to
cut down on crime done by immigrants, to end the power of the Jewish
bankers, to cut the liberal Jewish owned media.
Sounds a lot
like today's modern Tea Party.
The right-wing in the U.S. decries attempts to rewrite history
while rewriting history. Constantly. It's been a very effective strategy
for them. Seemingly.

The sad thing is that the Texas School boards buy so many school
textbooks that they can re-write history. Any wonder why some people
actually will believe Glenn Beck? blah-blah-blah
