On a positive note, I'm guessing that, if The Kagan (Highlander reference) is confirmed, JFK will be able to claim simultaneous credit for (1) placing a third woman on the Court for the first time in history, and (2) restoring the 20th century tradition of having 2 jewish men on the Court.

NPR noted this the other day, and broke it out by boroughs. Kagan is from Manhattan, Scalia from Queens. Brooklyn and The Bronx are also covered. All that's necessary now is Middle America, aka, Staten Island.
