There was a pretty funny book back then called "Screen Blue," or something "Blue." The storyline involved a director who wanted, not just to make the first major film production to show penetration, but to have, very transparently, a Donny and Marie in the lead roles. I was disgusted with myself for impure thoughts that generated. But it was very funny, as I remember.
