I don't think government is inherently evil. I think it is inherently stupid.Stupid and powerful are a bad combination.

I am going to have to disagree on the stupid part. Repubs are stupid and powerful(think GW). These snakes in the grass Dems are not blundering about aimlessly. A couple of screw ups is stupid, but a culture of cutthroat and systematic acts of wrongness cannot be accounted for simply on the basis of stupidity. It is calculated not random. I dont know if evil but certainly not stupid. Wrong perhaps
T-Shirt is slightly clumsy.
The better variation is
Government isn't inherently evil.
Just this one.
As billboard copywriters all know: "Say it in seven, go to heaven. Say it in eight, it won't be great."
Why do I have to do all the heavy lifting around here?
damn gerard, that was my original text, but I succumbed to wordiness. Fixed it.
The 7 word slogan rule comes from the fact that 7 words is the outer limit of words that a-ver-age bear can take in in one glance.
Government isn't inherently evil,
it is inherently dangerous.
The man is a deceitful communist pig-fucker. I was reading Kipling today, and a line jumped out at me: "Man's timid heart is bursting with the things he must not say..."
