Run Silent, Go Deep

I've been interested to see what response the media have given to the recent charge, by a Hawaiian election official, that no record of Obama's birth exists in Hawaii. I Googled and Blinged in search of any mention, by any established media outlet. This Examiner piece is as close as I could come.

Forget your own views about Barry's birth place. Ask yourself how an entire nation of supposed journalists, working as they do in the pressure cooker environment that is today's 24/7 news cycle; who spilled a trillion words on Michael Jackson's death, can ignore this accusation entirely? That's a story in itself.

I guess sniffing out fodder for the Daily Skank Report is more lucrative because more people read that column than actually keep up with real news.
Speaking of that, I sorta hoped the blonde in your pic has a bottle of wine in the brown bag and the next pic shows her bashing the picture taking scuzz over the head with it. But a Skank would never do that. They crave the attention.

Anonymous said...: My kids were born not far from the "little grass shack" in Kealakekua, Hi. We also have the certificate of live birth. They are both copies, have different borders and the fonts slightly differ. They are both stamped as official copies. We never recieved a "long Form Certificate" if there even is one. There are no Doctor names, no size or weight listed, just the date and location. There are lots of things to question about hte ones records, this isn't on of 'em, sorry.
