And the others wouldn't believe it, or care, because it would be just too much pride to swallow. Which is we we have you-know-who running the gummint.

Yes, anonymous, I even knew that with all the time they had, the WMD were moved, and I'm just an old, dumb, blonde.

George Tenet had never worked in the CIA and his background was in diplomacy when Clinton appointed him DCI in 1995. It was on his watch that we had embassies bombed and bin Laden was allowed to escape several times. Bush kept Tenet on thru 2004, (a huge mistake IMHO) and the WMD intelligence (or lack thereof) was generated under Tenet's leadership (or lack thereof).
Porter Goss, a Florida Congressman, had formerly worked for the CIA as an agent, and was highly critical of the CIA under Clinton. When Bush appointed him DCI in 2004, his efforts to straighten things out were met with resistance by the now growing Clinton cancer cells dug into the organization, driving him to resign after a short term. I'm convinced these Clinton people in the CIA, along with those in the State Department, resisted Bush efforts on the prosecution of the WOT by misinformation, lying and covering up useful information. Those fifth columnists Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson come to mind. They their ilk should be in prison.
We can only hope we elect a Constitution loving president and that he cleans house in the intelligence and Dept of State communities and turns them back into lean organizations where all members have America's interests foremost, if it's not already too late.
