Detroit needs a non-elected government to clean it up. The plebs have voted themselves bread and circuses until there was no one left to steal stuff from.
My notion was that a local indian tribe needs to buy up the land and convert it to reservation land. Evict the squatters, and start making gated communities and business parks ... sell new residents 100 year leases ( revocable if a serious crime is committed ), with no right to sit on the tribal council.
About the only politically correct way to disenfranchise these morons, and make them migrate to some other craphole. -
