iPhone 4 vs. HTC EVO

Best Buy Wants to Fire Employee
For His iPhone 4 vs. HTC EVO Video

Language warning

Gizmodo doesn't explain the why of Best Buy's visceral response over this video.  I'm left to believe it's because of their vested interest in selling the iPhone.  It does go to the heart of Apple cultists however. Clap Calp Clap

Well okay,
as long as you don't confuse Apple cultists with us Mac cultists. Apple cultists are heretics, and their foul stench must be purged from the face of the Earth. Yeah, and the Judean People's Front, too. Splitters!
(Thaat's okay, little MacBookPro. The bad old man wasn't talking about you, snookums.)

I dropped my verizon boulder at the boat ramp a while back , and I had to dive in 3 times before I found it in 8' of water(the bruthas , and mexicans fishing on the pier found it amusing) . It never missed a beat ! The other day at work a guy dropped his i phone from a scissor lift into a foot of water . I was right there , and heard the splash , and reached in and got it (5 seconds max) His phone was done , he lost all his info ! I was not impressed , and I'm with you DougM . I LOVE my MacBook Pro ! smibsid : )

I've got the HTC TD2 and it kicks iphony's ass. Pretty much everything that guy said was dead-balls-on accurate. Using an Apple product is fine for those who like being oppressed and controlled by techno-nazis....

"You WILL accept what we provide for you and like it!!! We are APPLE, gawdamned you!!! If you don't use our products, you must be a filthy capitalist pig who eats meat, cuts down trees and contributes to global warming by driving all over the place with your murdering SUVs!!!"

What Mo said. I've wondered since I found out why Rush uses Macs and not PCs. Talk about central command economy versus the free market!

I had an iPhone 3G. I liked the phone a lot. Yes, I also have Mac computers.

I ditched the iPhone at the end of my contract because AT&T is unwilling to provide consistent service where and when I need it. I noticed my work associates having good service with Verizon, Sprint, and t-Mobile. So I dropped AT&T.

If the iPhone becomes available on t-Mo, I will consider another one. But for the time being, I will not be painted into the AT&T corner for the take of a phone.

In my experience, "good service" and "t-Mobile" don't belong in the same sentence, unless there is a "not". Mind you, as long as you stay in the city or on the freeway you're OK.
At $23 for 1 hr/month I put up with it, but anyone considering switching to t-Mobile should consider themselves warned.

I agree with Anon; Don't switch to T-mobile if you ever have the choice. Outside of city centers and major freeways, you're generally going to have nothing, or get a weak roaming signal. And keep in mind "unlimited roaming" isn't unlimited. They kicked us off because of all of the "unlimited roaming" we did.

Tmobile is the worst carrier out there.
