You are insulting John Banner ( the actor who played Sgt. Schultz ) by comparing him to that retard Ed Schultz.
Banner was an Austrian Jew who managed to escape the holocaust by enlisting in the Wehrmacht under an alias, and finagling himself a post as a guard on the border with Spain. He fed his partner at his post booze until he collapsed, walked across the border, presented his real passport to the Spanish customs folks, and later bought passage to the US from Spain. -
