I say send her a bill. An itemized invoice with all the costs should work. If she doesn't pay, then file a suit, attach a judgement and watch the fun begin.

Wish it was that easy, or even possible. I'm drawn back to stories of how Lincoln fretted over his wife's shopping sprees, and how it nearly bankrupted him since he felt obliged to repay the treasury. Weren't we quaint.
