Isn't anyone else old enough to remember the Farkle family from Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In where the dark-haired couple had a whole house full of ginger kids and the red-headed next door neighbor would pop in and always exclaim, "Fine lookin' family you got there, Fred...."

Yeah, and the kids all looked just like the neighbor, down to the way he parted his hair in the center...
The ex- could never understand why I broke up laughing whenever they ran that skit--until finally I explained it to her.

JMcD, I remember a black comedian years ago saying, "Damn you white people. Now you have really gone and done it. Soon black women will be naming their baby girls 'Farfanoogin'.... Dat shore is a pretty name that Farfanoogin!"
Yo know, back when you could make fun of stereotypes... but it was ok because she was an African-American. -

Mr & Mrs Percy Lytewate brought their new baby home from the hospital yesterday and neighbors said, "He sure is a healthy looking little fellow."
One neighbor, Mrs.Trudy Bleekworthy, and old hand with children, having had 13 of her own said,"It's like that sometimes...the dark look...it'll go right away in a cupla weeks and e'll be right as rain....you'll see...ow bout a nice cuppa tay?" -
