It's just the lazy gene. They are opposed to anything they have to do for themselves. Defend yourself, study dry hard subjects, etc. Mom said I had the lazy bone, but she beat it out of me. Not a lazy gene in that woman.

One is tempted to identify, abort, and recopulate until we achieve something akin to the original republic. Of course some initial culling may be required.

The only way to make this right is a combined Nobel for economics and medicine.
Then you could gas up the B-52 and still have enough cash left for a nice 3 screen, quad TB drive, 24 core, Apple tower. Like Al Gore's and mine, but way faster.
Us laureates stick together. - 10/28/10, 12:31 PM

In 1998, Alan Carter proposed that a mind virus took advantage of human dopamine receptors and produced "packer" (liberal) behavior. He was labeled a crackpot.
link: http://www.buildfreedom.com/content/reciprocality/r1/index.html
Abstract
This paper presents a self-replicating, homeostatic phenomenon called M0. M0 runs parasitically on populations of humans. It is remarkable in that although its anatomy is distributed across all phenomenological layers from neurological to paradigmattic, its causal sequences are robust and (once exposed) readily traceable and hence vulnerable to counterattack.
The anatomy and lifecycle of the parasite are described, together with several secondary effects which are often of primary importance to the host population. An alternative interpretation of the role of dopamine in controlling mood and awareness is proposed, and how the "security breach" thus exposed is exploited by M0 is shown. A disturbing model of the variability of human consciousness is proposed. - 10/28/10, 12:51 PM

I like how it's a dope-amine receptor gene that's involved....

I noticed another part of the study identified overdeveloped herd instincts as well, exhibited by the, er, successfulness of social networking.
Herd instincts, eh? Kool-kids on kool-aid. A pox on them all! - 10/28/10, 12:58 PM

It doesn't explain why the Jews here are liberal whiney sob's and the Jews there get it.
Dated 2, loved em both, both liberal as all get out. - 10/28/10, 1:00 PM

It's actually part of a bigger problem: the liberal gene is a subset of the stupid gene....

That's a foil fencer. Note the electric vest and the bell guard on his weapon.
Real men fence both saber and epee.
Then again, I really prefer the beloved M1911A1.
