I'm lucky in that I've been depressive as opposed to manic depressive. The interesting thing has been the growing realization that more and more causes of "bi-polar" and clinical depression are more likley to be cause by body chemistry/brain interactions rather than the Fruedian childhood trauma explanation that ruled the diagnostic roost for too many years. I've been on both sides of this. The sadest thing was trying to explain to a friend that there was nothing he could have done to save the life of a girl he knew who was bi-polar. I finally got to him when I said it is like cancer you can be a friend to a cancer victem but you can't save them from it by talking.
Jeeves? Queer??? And everyone suspected poor Bertie.
