Anonymous said...: I have a lifetime of friends scattered all over the country, most of whom I very rarely see. Over the last couple of years I've REconnected with a few dozen old friends, classmates, old girlfriends, etc. that I hadn't talked to in decades. For me it's not so much a place to meet new people, it's a way to stay in touch with old friends that are too far away to see. I just had two more pop up this week.

In addition, I'm networking with many new Conservative friends I've met online, which is a good thing to do in these times. I post news items I think my liberal and teetering friends need to see in the hope of swaying them.

I get a lot of benefit from it.
