What you're seem to be saying Bobby Ahr, is that despite the successes (Rubio et.al.) we should avoid nominating anyone who might trigger a campaign of falsehoods, betrayal, and did I say betrayal?, but instead opt for Rino Mike Castle style asshats like Charlie Crist? That is no recipe for victory, IMO.
The GOP won a higher percent of the Senate races than House races but only a little more of those seats were up for election. Given how divided the country is, that was excellent results. Asking for anything more is just wishful thinking.
The establishment GOP candidates turned the victory of 1994 into the defeats 2006 and 2008.
