I gotta get me one of those!!!

Good ol' Ma Duece!!! Everyone loves their Ma. Only drawback is that they're expensive to feed.

Historical note -- the original cal.50 round was developed from a WWI German anti-tank rifle round. John Moses Browning up-sized his .30 cal machine gun to create the ancestor of our favorite Ma, Ma Duece.

Is that an '53 or '54 Ford F-100? Mine's a 1954...

The Duce would make a nice addition, but I don't think the GAU-8 would fit.

Hard to tell w/o the emblem on the side of the hood.

If you can restore that truck you can restore anything. Not a flat surface to be found anywhere. It boggles my mind to consider all the compound curves they built into a utilitarian vehicle back then. But then, we were America then.

My '54 F-100 was the 1st thing I did body work on back in the '70s. I stayed in the business for 17 years before finally going to college. Nearly 20 years later, as soon as I get the time, I plan on redoing the body work on that truck. Like in the picture Rodger posted, I plan on dropping the axles, but I also plan on chopping 4" off the roof, installing a tilt kit for the hood and front fenders, installing a small block V-8, new tranny, rear-end, power steering, disk brakes, fresh paint, and an air-brushed mural of Civil War battle on the tailgate. I just hope I can do all this before I kick the bucket.
